To support the highly anticipated release of Disney's "Star Wars®: The Force Awakens" movie, we were requested to develop the in store and online integrated marketing communications program. The strategy being to drive awareness of Sears as a participating Star Wars retailer, with marketing support being driven by the mobile, online and in-store experiences. The program identity leveraged the equity of the Star Wars brand by featuring imagery of new and beloved legacy, Star Wars characters.

Participating business units include: Apparel (Juniors, Kids, Young Men’s), Home, Electronics, Toys, Footwear, and Fine Jewelry in select stores. In-market experience from Force Friday (9/4/15) program launch through year-end. All works ©™ Lucasfilm. Ltd. Sears merchandising organization special buy of 2015 Star Wars licensed merchandise in support of the program generated over $28M incremental revenue to overall SHC in-store and on-line from the 9/4/15 launch through year-end.
